Do i need to change water pump when changing cambelt? Peugeot 306?

I am looking to change the cambelt on my 306, 1.4 petrol.

Do i need to change the water pump at the same time?

Thanks|||good idea!! As it is only a few more dollars for the part and no extra labor..if it fails later you will pay for the labor again and most likely will damage the belt..|||You don%26#039;t need to to, but given that the water pump is buried under the timing belt and cannot be removed without the timing belt coming of, it makes seance to do the water pump at the same time.

Ja.|||No unless its failing what it should be doing.|||No you don%26#039;t unless there is something wrong with your pump.|||Might as well, they%26#039;re not expensive and it%26#039;ll give you a peace of mind.|||good idea to do that once you have gotten that far to maintenance the belt do water pump so you wont have to go back later in time to do pump and all the labor cost you can save by doing both now.|||You should if it is driven y the same belt or if ti is under timing cover. Less money in long run of it all.|||yes do it !!
