we are trying to change the water pump on a 1994 dodge intrepid but need to know where it is located we have the parts thank you

on a 94 it could be a 3.3 or 3.5. on a 3.3 it is on the left side on the front of the engine towards the bottom. if it is a 3.5 it is driven by the timing belt inside the timing cover and shoudl be replaced by someone proficient at timing belts or you could bend your valves.

If your car has a 2.7 engine open the hood and face the engine.
Look down it'd the one near the top on the drivers side.
But better yet go on line to Auto Zone they will give you step by step instructions on there web site.
if it happens to be a 3.3 engine its located on the left side of the engine and isn't to hard to change,if its a 3.5 you have to do water pump and timing belt on it and a new tensioner,they make a kit that comes with everything you need to do it with,and if you don't get it back in time it can and will bend some valves on it,id let a pro do it if its got the 3.5 in it,those are good engines,but they have to be put back in proper time,or it will bend a valve,most shops can do this,now would also be a real good time to change the water pump on it,good luck with it.
