Did you leave a camshaft or crankshaft sensor disconnected?
Changed water pump on 94 Lexus sc400; now it won't start?

Does it crank over but not fire? Does it not crank at all? Does it just %26quot;click%26quot;.
To start, try checking the easy things, did something come disconnected while you were working to replace the water pump? Did the hood light drain the battery and now it wont start because the battery is dead?
If I can remember correctly the water pump on these is driven by the timing belt. Did you double check to make sure the timing marks were lined up correctly?
