did you disconnect the battery before starting the water pump job?

When I do a repair and something new is there when I am done I'll go over the area where I was working very close to see if maybe a wire / connector / etc. was not put back.
Really, I've been at it for 25 years and I still do it sometimes.

Check your wires to the starter and that battery is charged and terminals are clean. Just check around for any unplugged wires near where you were working. ?Is it turning over or is the starter not even working?
check and make sure the coil wire is not loose on it i loosen them sometimes,it has to be something that got knocked loose or isnt making a good connection on it,good luck.
