My 1986 Honda CRX will not run but will turn over but acts like no compression after changing water pump/?

Also could not find timing marks on motor .HELP!

probably your timing belt is way off. The valves would be open at the wrong time, you'd get no compression and the timing marks would be way off to one side or the other.

you have the valves out of time. The timing mark for the crank shaft is on the flywheel. You remove a plug in the bell housing and line the marks up. The cam shaft marks are on the cam gear

You should have consulted a repair manual before attempting this job. Now you may have bent vales unless you got lucky.
timing belt is going to be the problem

hopefully you didn,t bend any valves

it is an interference engine
